This was so great! Thank you for sharing. Indeed, there is a movement for women’s equality in the church (and the world) happening. I am excited to witness more and more speakers, writers and bloggers begin to testify to what the Holy Spirit through God’s Word (and in so many people’s lives) has already been saying to us for years. In Christ, we are all equipped as the Holy Spirit distributes the gifts as He wills and all are called to serve in various roles within the church — none of them being closed off due to a person’s gender or race.

    • There are groups of us who want women’s equality all across America. We can be found in the Seventh Day Adventists, non-denominationals, Catholics, Presbyterians, and elsewhere. Rarely am I finding Baptists who are hungering for equality. You might like my two books “Dethroning Male Headship” which explains how an island of restrictionists (Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood) against women took over the whole ocean and how we are kept from preaching or being a deacon. Then my newest book “Women Equal-No Buts: Powered by the same Source” is an updated expanded edition of my blogs, which of course are written with humor and righteous outrage.
