If it is, you have come to the right place. This is an action place. This is where you will find out what you can do to bring about change.
- We say we want it. But our actions belie that.
- We blog. But we don’t ask for a commitment.
- We read books about equality. But the books don’t ask us to do anything after we close the cover.
Malala Yousafzai of Pakistan is ready for women’s equality. It almost took her life and probably will someday soon, but this young girl is making headlines because she believes that women and girls should be equal to boys and men. Watch this interview by Jon Stewart where she leaves him speechless in her passion for equality.
As a girl I sang the familiar song in my Baptist church, “Where He Leads Me, I will Follow.”
I will follow, I will follow, I will follow him. Where he leads I will follow. We sing about commitment, and proclaim our desire to follow. But do we mean it? These are action words. Following implies doing.
